Program Details >>
The iQuest Program proves to be the most challenging, yet rewarding, experience of your life! You will be pushed in every aspect of your life — physically, spiritually, and emotionally. You will leave the island at the end of the program a deeper Christian, a stronger leader, and a more humble servant. Your understanding of missions in a developing country will be extensive after these two months. You’ll return home prepared for broader mission experiences and with a global perspective in your everyday life.
As an added benefit, your learning and growing will all take place with a refreshing sea breeze while overlooking the Caribbean Sea! You will also have the opportunity to develop significant relationships, meet hundreds of Christians from all across America and Jamaica, and enjoy your off days on some of the world’s most beautiful beaches.
What does an intern do?
The intern team is a vital part of our ministry, helping lead the American teams, working directly with the Jamaicans, and organizing other projects that change from season to season depending on the skills you bring to our mission and the needs of the community. We want to make the most of your God-given talents and interests!
We are looking for adults and young adults who have:
- a genuine love for people
- a desire to learn
- a willingness to serve
If you feel led to serve in Jamaica for more than just a one-week trip, an intern position could be for you!
Opportunities include . . .
- co-lead mission trips
- run sports clinics
- tutor school children
- lead construction crews
- teach us all something new
- and much more!
What we really need are individuals who are willing to do whatever, however, whenever. We are looking for interns who are flexible and willing to serve with a positive attitude, putting the mission’s needs above their own.
